One of our favorite things about A-R is when our little Vikings get to hang out and learn from our older Vikings! The A-R Cheerleaders hosted a mini cheer camp and then the mini cheerleaders performed on the field!

School lunch is one of our favorite times of the day!

Mirabella Andree, Beck Andree, Aaron Myers, and Parker Gourley competed in the regional PJAS (Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science) competition at Slippery Rock. All four obtained a first place award and will be moving on to the state competition in May at Penn State University. Beck also received a perfect award and a cash prize. Congratulations to these very successful Vikings on creating and presenting their individual science projects. They make A-R proud!

Mrs. Deceders room celebrated International Dot Day from the book, The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds! The Dot is about a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”.

The Elementary Staff wore cardigans for World Kindness Day, November 13, 2024.

Mrs. Donaldson’s and Mrs. Hartman’s chemistry classes celebrated Mole Day on October 23. A mole is a unit of measurement in chemistry equivalent to 6.02 x 10^23 atoms. The unit has been made into a fun day full of puns and mole day projects.
